Blog competition ends in 4 days! and cloth nappy hunt begins in 5 days

Remember to post your response to the 'shiny new things' post below to be in the running to win one of two limited edition wetbags from itti bitti and Green Kids

(if you really like another of our instock wetbags and ask politely I will probably let you change designs;) )

We are deep in prep mode for the beginning of the Cloth Nappy Hunt, which starts on March 1st.

This is the 3rd hunt that Karri Tree Lane has sponsored, and the first time that we've elected to be an EXTREME sponsor.  This means that out icon will be hidden in a more tricky spot, requiring a little more brain power to spot.  Our prize this year matches that extra effort from you, being a luxurious Sakura Bloom ring sling

Registrations for the Cloth Nappy Hunt are now open via the Diaper Decisions website, follow the link in the image here:

Building our Village

The KTL family is lucky enough to have a standing dinner date, every Thursday night, up the road with our dear friends.  I am really loving having community so close by, after years of feeling quite lonely and isolated despite living in the city.

Do you live somewhere with a nurturing Village of like-minded family and friends?

While personal circumstances vary and so many of us experience social isolation, I truly believe that every ounce of effort that we put into building our community is returned tenfold.

As we see with the awesome nation wide (world wide even!) response to disasters like the floods throughout the east of Australia, and support and love sent to those suffering through Cyclone Yasi in the north east of Queensland, physical proximity to our village is not the be all and end all. You will see I am creating links to my 'Virtual Village' on the right hand side of the blog, please feel free to comment on this post with suggestions for other blogs and websites to add (your own pages or those that you follow).
